How to get a longevity prescription online
Who benefits from longevity medicine?
Most patients are healthy adults who want to stay that way longer. Consider a consultation if you notice any of these.
Declining energy and stamina
Persistent fatigue or slower recovery after exercise that has appeared gradually over the past few years.
Changes in body composition
Fat accumulating around the midsection despite no big changes to diet or activity.
Brain fog or low mood
Reduced mental sharpness, motivation, or mood stability that was not a factor before.
Slower injury recovery
Workouts that used to feel manageable now take longer to recover from.
Interest in aging prevention
You feel well now and want to stay that way. Longevity protocols work best when started early, not as a rescue.
Family history of age-related disease
A family history of metabolic disease, cardiovascular conditions, or cognitive decline is a strong reason to start monitoring and optimizing early.

How longevity medicine works: targeting the biology of aging
Aging is not a single process. It is the accumulation of several interconnected biological failures: mTOR pathway overactivation, declining NAD+ levels, oxidative stress, metabolic dysfunction, hormonal decline, and chronic low-grade inflammation. Anti-aging medications work by targeting specific pathways.
mTOR inhibition (rapamycin)
mTOR drives cell growth. When permanently overactive with age, it accelerates aging. Rapamycin dials it back, giving cells more time for repair and maintenance.
AMPK activation (metformin, acarbose)
AMPK is the cell's energy sensor. Activating it improves insulin sensitivity, reduces inflammation, and mimics some effects of caloric restriction.
NAD+ restoration (NAD+ spray and injection)
NAD+ fuels the sirtuins, a family of proteins that regulate DNA repair, inflammation, and metabolic health. Restoring NAD+ levels supports these protective functions.
Growth hormone support (sermorelin)
Growth hormone is essential for muscle maintenance, fat metabolism, sleep quality, and tissue repair. Sermorelin stimulates your body to produce more of its own.
Antioxidant defense (glutathione injection)
Glutathione neutralizes the free radicals that damage cells and accelerate oxidative aging, particularly in the liver and skin.
Mitochondrial support (methylene blue)
Methylene blue helps mitochondria run more efficiently, supporting cellular energy and reducing the oxidative byproducts that contribute to aging.

Book free consultationAre longevity medications safe?
When prescribed by a licensed physician and used at appropriate doses, the medications available through Heally have well-established safety profiles. None of them is a new compound: rapamycin has been used in medicine since 1999, metformin since the 1990s, and glutathione and NAD+ are molecules the body produces naturally.
That said, longevity medications are not supplements. Each has real pharmacological activity and potential interactions. This is why Heally requires a physician consultation before prescribing any protocol.
Common, manageable side effects
- Rapamycin: mouth sores at higher doses, mild immune modulation
- Metformin: gastrointestinal discomfort, usually resolves with dose titration
- NAD+: mild flushing or nausea in the first one to two sessions
- Glutathione injection: injection-site discomfort, brief detox response in first sessions
- Sermorelin: injection-site reactions, water retention at higher doses
- Methylene blue: blue-green coloring of urine (expected), interacts with serotonergic drugs
- Acarbose: gastrointestinal symptoms (gas, bloating), especially initially
Your Heally physician monitors your response through regular check-ins and lab reviews and adjusts dosing if needed.

This page is for general educational purposes only and is not medical advice. Longevity medications are prescription treatments used under the supervision of a licensed physician; many are prescribed off-label and are not FDA approved for anti-aging or longevity, and are not covered by insurance for that use. Each has real pharmacological activity and potential interactions, which is why a physician consultation is required before prescribing. Individual results vary. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider before starting any treatment.
